A painting born from real-time dialogue between artist, musician, and AI

This artwork was created during a live audiovisual performance held in El Matas as part of the AI Design Awards 2024. The performance brought together a painter working in real time on canvas, a musician improvising a sound environment, and an AI system that observed and interpreted the scene, projecting visual translations live on screen.
Every brushstroke, sound cue, and rhythm shift affected the AI’s behavior, transforming the performance into a synchronized interplay of human and machine expressions. The final canvas captures not only the moment itself but the essence of a shared creative impulse between artist, sound, and algorithm.

Vladislav OSSSO 
A contemporary artist and director based in Barcelona. He works at the intersection of art and technology, exploring tactility, memory, and perception in the digital age. His projects often take the form of phygital installations and audiovisual performances, blending painting, sound, generative visuals, and AI. He exhibits internationally and collaborates with fashion brands and tech institutes, creating a new language of visual experience.
